Mr Latyr MBODJ a plus de 10 ans d’expérience internationale en Banque & Finance. Il est diplômé d’une maîtrise en Mathématiques Appliquées de l’Université Cheikh Anta Diop de Dakar et d’un DEA en Mathématiques Appliquées à la finance de l’Université de Marne-La-Vallée de Paris. Latyr est aussi certifié « Financial Risk Manager » par l’institut « Global Association Risk Professional » basé à New Jersey.
Il a commencé sa carrière professionnelle en 2002 en tant qu’analyste quantitatif et risque manager au sein de la compagnie Olympia Capital Management qui est spécialisée dans la gestion d’actifs. En 2013, Latyr est retourné à Dakar pour créer GFG, structure spécialisée dans l’accompagnement des PME et la formation en finance. Il a en parallèle travaillé sur la mise en place d’une SGI dans la zone UEMOA, investissement sur le marché de la BRVM. Depuis 2015, il est consultant et a travaillé à la Société Générale sur un projet d’outsourcing des activités de suivi du risque puis au sein du groupe BPCE en tant que Business Analyst sur la réglementation bancaire. Actuellement il a créé une structure IBMA ADVISORY et travaille dans ce cadre pour la banque DEXIA en tant que Consultant indépendant.
Cheikh Mbow est Professeur Titulaire à l’Université de Pretoria et Directeur du Centre de Future Africa, un centre de recherche sur les questions scientifiques pour la transformation de l’Afrique. Il a un Doctorat en Sciences de l’Environnement, et une spécialisation en écologie forestière et télédétection. Il a servi pendant 11 ans (2000-2011) à l’université Cheikh-Anta-Diop (UCAD) de Dakar comme Maître de Conférences en Géomatique Appliquée, avant de codiriger des travaux de recherche sur l’agroforesterie et les changements climatiques au World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF) à Nairobi, Kenya (2012-2016). Il a dirigé de 2016 à 2019 le Centre START-International basé à Washington DC où il a mis en place des programmes sur la sécurité alimentaire et le renforcement de capacités sur l’adaptation au changement climatique et l’atténuation des gaz à effet de serre en Afrique et en Asie. Ses travaux ont contribué au développement de recherche-action visant à améliorer les politiques agro-écologique en faveur de communautés vulnérables en Afrique.
Prof Cheikh Mbow est auteur principal GIEC pour l’Agriculture, la foresterie et les autres utilisations des terres (AFOLU) du GIEC-AR5 et AR6, et coordonnateur du chapitre sur la sécurité alimentaire dans le rapport Spécial du GIEC sur Changement Climatiques et les Terres (SRCCL). Il a été aussi auteur principal pour le cadrage de la Plateforme intergouvernementale scientifique et politique sur la biodiversité et les services écosystémiques-IPBES. Mbow a été consultant pour la FAO, UNCCD, l’Union Européenne, et membres de plusieurs conseils scientifiques (AGROPOLIS, ONE-PLANET, Adaptation-Futures, DANIDA, Future Earth, Global Land Program-GLP, International Geosphere-Biosphere Program-IGBP, etc.). Ses recherches portent sur la dynamique des terres, la restauration des terres dégradées, la productivité ligneuse et la valorisation des produits forestiers et agroforestiers.

C’est à l’âge de 12 ans que l’aventure commence, passionnée par l’agriculture et le commerce, elle apprend à cultiver le mil, le Sorgho, le Niébé, le riz et bien d’autres denrées.
Ainsi, après un brillant cursis scolaire, Fatimata décide parallèlement d’acquérir stratégiquement des connaissances linguistiques en Français mais aussi en Pulaar, sa langue maternelle. Ce qui lui permit d’acquérir des compétences pour communiquer et former, à son tour, des jeunes éducatrices.
Son caractère de femme gestionnaire et entreprenante se révèle peu à peu par sa passion de vouloir améliorer les conditions de vie des populations de sa région.
Elle est actuellement Présidente Directrice Générale de la Fondation Mission Humanitaire pour le Développement des Jeunes (FMHDJ) depuis 2013 et la présidente fondatrice du Mouvement des femmes rurales actives pour le plan Sénégal emergent ( 2015),et l’ Union pour l’ Emergence du Fouta ( UPEF )depuis 2019. Ces organismes fondés au Canada et au Sénégal ont pour missions: (1) de promouvoir et de sensibiliser à la lutte contre la pauvreté (2) favoriser l’intégration des personnes vulnérables dans la société. Ces programmes mobilisent chaque année des milliers de jeunes et de femmes au Sénégal et tout comme au Québec-Canada.

Mr. Niang is a native of St. Louis, where he attended primary school in Duval and secondary school at the Lycée Charles de Gaulle. He continued his studies at the University of Dakar, where he obtained the Master Philosophy degrees in 1982, a degree in sociology and psychology Certificates, DEUG in law. In 1985, he worked as a lecturer in Social Sciences at the Ecole Normale Supérieure of Nouakchott. As an adviser to the Director of ENS, he coordinated the ENS transformation project in Scientific Higher Institute (ISS) became Faculty of Science of the University of Nouakchott. In this context, he was sent to the United States for intensive development in Project Management, Human Resources, and Finance at the University of Pittsburgh in 1987. This year, he graduated from the Katz School of Business: Master Equivalence. Between 1988 and 1989, he led the adaptation project of ISS training courses to the needs of the country (Agriculture, Fishing, and Environment) in cooperation with the Universities of Nice, Montpellier and the Military School of Meknes in Morocco with funding from the World Bank. In 1990, he moved to France and joined the training Operational staff at the European School of Management (EAP). He developed a senior career specializing in the management of subsidiaries and logistics platforms. From 1990 to date, he has been living in France, leading and managing cost centers and profits of large groups with responsibilities below Regional Manager North GDEW France Express International, Operations Director at Geodis, Heppner, ID Logistics Group and PLUS with management assignments of profit centers, operational management, management control, auditing and project management. This business management experience has been accompanied by a sustained training in various fields including Management ESSEC Business, a Masters in Supply Chain Management (CESI) numerous courses in business management, auditing and management control, law and logistics. Mr. Niang is very fond of the animation of associations for resource mobilization and capital for the development of Senegal. He worked on the contribution of the Diaspora Fifteenth Region: a Challenge for Development of Senegal in 2012.

Born and raised in Dakar Plateau, Bineta Diene Diop lived for 25 years in the United States of America. Holder of a Master’s degree at the University Cheikh Anta Diop, Bineta worked for 23 years as a performer at the American Immigration Services Department for various courts of the country. Since 1997, she launched into entrepreneurship by opening her cosmetics and beauty shop, where she offers natural hair, jewelry, and objects of African art. Early on, she developed a loyal clientele thanks to its focus on product quality and customer retention, as well as outstanding customer service. Her word of mouth advertising approach is the basis of the success of her business. Bineta not only uses social media such as Facebook for advertising and as an extension of her business, but she is also a member of the Professional Women group in the United States called “A Senegalese in the USA.” Bineta Diene Diop was President for four years of the Association of Senegalese Women in Dallas, where she remains as a very active element in her community.

Serigne Ndiaye works since 2002 as the director of the Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE), in Dakar. Born in Ndiaye Bopp, in the municipality of Mont Rolland, Serigne coursed his primary and secondary education respectively in his native village and in the “Capital of the Rail” before continuing his academic training at the English Department of the University Cheikh Anta Diop, from which he emerged with a Diploma of Advanced Studies (DEA). Recipient of a Fulbright Scholarship that took him to the University of New York at Albany, Serigne took his doctorate in comparative literature from Emory University, in Atlanta, Georgia, obtaining the university’s excellence award. Serigne served both as a professor and a lecturer at various institutions in the US and Europe, including Emory University, the State University of New York at Albany, and the Archbishop Grimshaw School in England. Dr. Ndiaye attended many seminars on personal development and intercultural sensitivity. As such, he is a Director Certified Intercultural Development Inventory, a tool for assessing intercultural competence. Founding member of the Steering Committee of the West African Think Tank, Wathi Serigne Ndiaye is also a member of several socio-professional associations, including the Senegalese Association of Former Fellows of the US Department of State, the Caribbean Association of Philosophy, and the Association of Former Students (Alumni) of Emory University. Serigne is currently developing skills both as a writer and a tennis player, a sport he has been practicing in recent years. By the force of his professional training, Serigne is defined as an educator but remains fundamentally peasant.

Mr. Fall has over 20 years of project management experience, capacity building, and training, with a mastery of public-private partnership projects (PPP) and regulation. As a project manager, Mr. Fall has worked throughout Africa, Senegal, Uganda, Liberia, Mauritania, Madagascar, Zambia, South Africa, and Nigeria and also with projects funded by USAID. From 2011 to 2016, he served as Project Manager for the water supply project in northern Uganda on behalf of USAID and from 2011 to 2016 as Project Manager for the design and installation of water supply systems in three cities in Liberia. Mr. Fall was the director of training at the International Law Institute and the Institute of Public-Private Partnership (IP3) in Washington and established its regional office based in Dakar – IP3 Africa. With IP3 Africa, Mr. Fall developed the first series of training programs on PPP in French. He collaborated with various donors, including USAID, the World Bank, the African Development Bank (ADB), European Union (EU) and the Caribbean Development Bank.

Mr. Moussa SY is a Librarian and Certified Buyer Associate Team Leader with Whole Foods Market. He is a Certified Language Tester for the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages, which aids in testing the capabilities of American Linguistics Military stationed abroad. Mr. Sy was Account Executive at Western & Southern Life Insurance Company. After this, he became an Assistant Manager at L&L Management Inc. and General Manager at Centurion Foods and RTM, Inc.

Mbacke lives in the USA since 1990. He received his MA in Economics (Business Administration) in 1989 at the University Cheikh Anta Diop, after an internship at the SONEPI sanctioned by a thesis on structural adjustment and the New Industrial Policy (NPI ) the same year.

Born in Ziguinchor, Mr. Bassene performed all his studies there, starting in 1991 at the Department of Arts and Humanities in the Cheikh Anta Diop University. Three years later, he joined the Senegalese office of the Young Men Christian Association (YMCA) as Secretary-General of the University Branch. In November 1997, because of his international curriculum in Hospitality, he was invited to join the YMCA of the Rockies, at Snow Mountain Ranch, in the United States of America. After completing his program with honors, Mr. Bassene alternated positions both as a cashier and Finance assistant manager of the Grand Casino Hinckley in Minnesota. It was there, in 2002, that Mr. Bassene met who would later become his wife, a beautiful, young Senegalese woman pursuing her studies in Masters at the University of Minnesota. From 2000 to 2012, Mr. Bassene was employed respectively by Grand Casino, in Hinckley, Minnesota, and Viejas Casino Resort, in Alpine, California. Through this time, Mr. Bassene acquired extensive experience in finance, laws, and regulations (both tribal and federal) on governing gambling, the strict application of the rules to the service of the customer and the governing employees, and monitoring of policies and procedures. Mr. Bassene is also the holder of a degree in Management and Operations of Hotel Industries and former CEO of Carlson Hotels Franchises and Wyndham Hotels.

Mr. Stephen FAYE currently working on the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), the office of the Government of Washington DC. He participated in an accounting and audit work in American public service, including the Ministries of Education, Trade, Transport, Urban Risk, Treasury, Defense, and Homeland Security.
Madani Ndiaye has worked since 2016 at the Department of Defense of the United States, based in the state of Florida. Previously, he was Executive Manager for the George S. May in Chicago and Group Supervisor for Metro-Access Group.
